ibm think pad. how do you adjust the image si that it fits with the screen?

on desktop computer screens settings are on the screen itself, where are they on my laptop?

also the quality of the dispaly is very bad,exept for letters

well I gave back the computer to the guy who sold it to me.

Couldn't even be bothered to wait 5 hours for us to give you an answer.

What model was it?
Usually you hold a function key then press some other keys on they keyboard.
They're usually labelled in blue.
