yeah. that's not something you should really try fixing on your own. take it to a shop for sure. gotta say thats one hell of a strange problem though. :blink:

No shit, been looking for something on the net for the last while now, nothing so far. Def. gonna take it to the shop, damn, i think it might be the screws on the bridge (not sure).

yeah. it's really strange that it didn't become obvious until the strings were off. how does a bridge just come unattached by itself?

You're telling me lol, I talked to the guy he didn't really explain why the bridge came off the way it did (I'll ask him when I go to pikck up the guitar), but he said it's because of the tightening screws on the bridge itself, said it was a relatively easy problem to solve and that he'd be done in 30 min. But I had other things to do so I just left it at the store (it was still under warranty :) ) and I'll pick it up tom.

whew. at least it's fixable.
I know, I was so damn worried :pinch: and google yielded no results which further worried me. First thing I'll do when I pick up guitar will be to ask the guitar tech how that's even possible and how to avoid it next time im switching strings.
