Free Web Space That Supports Java

You mean JSP/Servlet support I guess? I don't think there are free hosts that have that.

For JavaScript (something completely different from Java!) you don't need special webspace, since it is all executed at the client side.

I seem to have just relized that also and that the guy I was talking to at my ISP was a bit of a twat, I had asked why the pages I uploaded werent working and explained that the items that werent looked like all the java relateed items so he just said "well we dont support java", however the next time I went to the page after getting off the phone all was fine...
