Im planning on buying the 10 Gb iPod, they even engrave your name on it, the only problem is that is very expensive, $299 but they say is the best mp3 player out there, i havent seen one in my entire life, so can someone tell me if is worth the money...?

The Jukebox's are good alternatives, along with Dell's new one (suprisingly, great battery life too) As well as the Zen handheld thingys.
The dell ones are like 200 dollars off dell's website for a 15GB one.

They have had decent reviews as well.

You might find Sharedholder's topic in the Filesharing section interesting.
It made me wonder if the iPod is worth buying at all....
edit: typo

personally, i would spent that much on one mp3 player. but you might be different. the 10gig isnt going to be all that usefull becuz even if you do use up the hwole 10gig, would you take your time searching through all that music to find one you like? its not like you are going to listen to all that music at one time.

you kno that there r progs that let u store other things on the drive/transform the ipod into a useable HDD rite?
