The card you got sounds ok,personally i wouldn't bother getting the other one.Maybe buy more RAM instead. :)

No. I had the Geforce thingy and it is very weak compared to ATI Radeon.
I advise you get a SappireTech Radeon 9500 non pro card which you can soft mod into a Radeon 9500 pro by activating the 4 idle pixel pipelines.
You might even be lucky enough to find one with the correct memory bus which can be converted to 256, also through soft mod.
