I kind of agree with the article but i think its a bit premature.
It seems to think all software will be hired off the internet in the future. The article hints at it anyway and i have seen a shift to slim clients so this is what i assume the article means.
since broadband is still not available everywhere it seems very unlikely to happen any time soon so the article is jumping the gun by a long shot.
