connection problem with server

hi, im new to the forums & need some help with a bittorrent connection problem. if anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

I'm currently away from home & asscessing the internet through a local area connection & web server which i think is running apache (go 192.168.0.1 in explorer & get a powered my apache logo & thats about it). http downloads are all good get about 150KB great. but i can't get bittorrent to connect at all. i have both abc & azureus, with encryption enabled & have tried many random port options to try & get it to connect to no avail.

Id love to hear any ideas to get torrent going even at a modest download speed would be great.
