I have tried seems like everything to get a decent FTP download speed off a leeware server to no avail:
I have tried. Running FTP server W/O SFTP vsftp
Connecting to server W/O SFTP
Disabled the selinux
Even off the webmin has same terrible speeds of 20K.
Anyone find a solution? Has one??

setup vstftp, open the ftp in a brower, copy shortcuts of files into download accelerator and dwonload. You should get good speed that way.
dont worry dude i used ftprush and had the same issue that guy above this post has a nice way though if i kept my box i would try that sounds legit.:01:Quote:
