Dinner with your lovers Parents.
I find it really annoying when it seems logical that the parents
of your lover should pay for the dinner at a restaurant
It's not that i make more than them, on the contrary, i find it humiliating at times. It is a tradition i have seen in my past 3 relationships, so i guess it is a norm.
Yes i have tried to pay, in the end i find other ways.
Do you have similar experience?

Is that you on the left, looking like you just had a lobotomy?
Re: Dinner with your lovers Parents.

father is an architect, mother is an urban planner,
just imagine the discussions.

What is it you do yourself.
Re: Dinner with your lovers Parents.
Seems that the eldest always tried to pay.
About a year ago when dating a different gal and out with her parents, I excused myself to the restroom. The real reason for sneaking off was to give my credit card to the waiter long before we finished eating. When they asked for the check, the receipt for the dinner was already billed and brought to me to sign. No debating. No hassle. :)
