my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem
i noticed ever since i installed service pack 2 for xp, when i double click on my k-lite icon shortcut, i see the klite icon pop up in the taskbar, but then it disappears and the window screen blinks and then nothing happens, as if it automatically got closed.
what gives?
Re: my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem
It has to do with SP2 not allowing multiple connections or something like that.
It's been discussed before, but I think that post vanished with all the others of the past 2 months.
I'm sure someone here can tell exactly what the problem is with SP2. :)

K-Lite v2.6 is known not to work with Service Pack 2.

Until K-Lite v2.6 developers find a way to fix it, no.
Re: my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem
*sigh*, I just posted info on this topic like a minute ago.
K-Lite 2.6 doesnt not work with SP2. Even with the patch above, it still doesnt work. I recommend going down to Kazaa Lite K++ or switching networks (Emule, Bit Torrent). Though I recommend you run the patch anywayz to open more connections in your computer for other programs.
Re: my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem
where do we get a patch to open more connections? How do we know it works?
Re: my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem

They've been dead for a while already. Time to find new filesharing programs/networks.
Re: my klite doesn't load up....service pack problem
If it really is a XP SP2 problem, then disabling DEP might help.
