Well before a name change such as that, they need to post it in local forums and such. They need to be sure you are not trying to dodge any of your responsibilities by changing your name.

Not a bad decision on their part ;)

Biggest problems with name changes is that all fdatabase links need to be rebuild.
Like your 2087 posts all get the new name. That was one reason not to change names&#33; Also my guess the way you ask in here is ehm.... <_<
