I recently got prompted to buy a new subscription for liveupdate. I noticed I need tp purchase a cd-key from Symantec. Anyone know if it`s possible to find a valid cd-key to use, or any other way around this problem which will ensure more virus updates?

get urself a copy of this...
File: Norton_AntiVirus_2003_Live_Update_Crack.ace
Length: 2255 Bytes,2KB
UUHash: =ZeywPhUt3tGDbzQtCIAVNDD3//8=
just manually enter the hash with sig2dat, or ksig, since quicklinks dont work out here, or just manually search for part of that file name

C:\program files\common files\symantec shared\LiveReg\Catalog.livesubscribe
^ Delete this file and re-install Norton Antivirus. You'll have a fresh new subscription then.

Thanks guys! B)
EDIT: hm I`m in C:\program files\common files\symantec shared\LiveReg
but I can`t find a file named catalog.livesubscribe?
I have NAV 2002 btw.

Search your drive for that file. It might be in a different place in NAV2002.
Or it might have a slightly different name.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe :) That's it on my computer.

Nope doesn`t work. I deleted the livesubscribe file, and reinstalled Norton internet security (including NAV2002). It seems to work at first with the subscription service beeing pushed forward by 1 year, but when I run liveupdate it confirms my subscription and then I get prompted to renew my subscription. And now the expiration date on the subscription service is the same as before :/

Don't give up. :) There are various ways. andr.net

It does initially I guess, but when run liveupdate it catch me somehow, and the subscription date changes back to the old one.
