Immortal technique - Dance with the devil
(very very deep track ( story telling track )!)
http://rapidshare.de/files/3810726/i...devil.wma.html
lyric snippet:
"so Billy oaked her up and grapped the chick by the hair
and dragged her into a lobby that had nobody there
she struggled hard but they forced her to go up the stairs
they got to the roof and then held her down on the ground
screaming shut the f**k up and stop moving around
the shirt covered her face, but she screamed the clawed
so Billy stomped on the bitch, until he broken her jaw"

lyric snippet:
"So here's the truth about the system that F**ked up your mind
they gove al quedia 6 billion dollars in 1989, ( to when ? )
to 1992 ( ten ) and now the last chapters of revalation are coming true!
And i know Alot of people find it hard to follow this because

Immortal technique - the 4th branch (mp3 song)
http://rapidshare.de/files/3811183/T...ranch.mp3.html
lyrics snippet:
"Translated in psychologically tainted philosophy
Conservative political right wing, ideology
Glued together sloppily, the blasphemy of a nation
Got my back to the wall, cause I'm facin' assassination
Guantanamo Bay, federal incarceration
How could this be, the land of the free, home of the brave?
Indigenous holocaust, and the home of the slaves
Corporate America, dancin' offbeat to the rhythm
You really think this country, never sponsored terrorism"
thx.

Immortal Technique destroys the official version of what really happened on 9/11 in his second CD, "Revolutionary Vol. 2." On track 13 titled, The Cause of Death, Tech made the first ever published hip-hop commentary on the physical collapse of the Twin Towers, saying:
I was watchin' the towers,
and though I wasn't the closest
I saw them crumble to the earth
like they were full of explosives
Tech released the song Bin Laden featuring which is the most blunt, direct song for 9/11 Truth in history. No one has tackled the topic of 9/11 Truth with more ferocity than Tech. Tech managed to pull in another prominent hip-hop star into the 9/11 Truth fold, Mos Def, who is featured on the song's chorus.

I love when musicians and actors think they know more about running the country than the people elected to do so, most of which never even finished high school.

The funny thing is he doesnt think or want in any respect to "Run the country". He is explaing the truth in the form of hiphop. I don't want to argue with you because you cant change the mind of a stero-type.

giving it some thought, many influencial people tried speaking out, giving people the truth.
none have done it in a more straight forward way than Immortal Technique
I also realized that out of Immortal Technique's growing fanbase, not that many people know everything that the man speaks on. there are verses on a couple of songs which most of us just listen to, thinking that we know what he means but i came to realize that in reality about 98 % of listeners dont know the depth that this man goes into. Verses on songs like silence, angels of death, land of the gun, and even the latest treason with akir.
People dont fully realize what typa shit this man is on, and immortal tech. himself knows that. Thats why he making hits to appeal to the youth, so his voice becomes familiar to everyone and eventually when the time is ripe the secrets of some of those deep verses will shine through at you
That lead me to my point, most artists who chose to oppose the system ended up dead
in reality how hard do you people think it is for "them" to get someone to approach I.T on the street, pull out a gat and blast him point blank, and then claim on the news that it was someone trying to rob him or someone who he just got in a dispute with on da street ...etc.....
How long do you think he will be allowed to speak, that is my question.

lol,you have a point.......not many are as blunt and powerful in expression as technique.also, other political and social rappers fade in comparison to technique in terms of their actual knowledge, and whereas they simply mention something (for example, oppression),technique will give examples, opinions etc.
that said, someone will always take on "the torch" of this movement, regardless of what is going on.sadly, however,I doubt if even technique will make a huge difference on his own.change will only come about if the same messages and sentiments echoe across whole cultures and groups, and influentual people are effected.in the meantime,I'm going to support those who make up this movement.....
