I downloaded "need_for_speed_5_porshe.zip" (192MB) through sig2dat, unzipped it.
got a folder "nfs5" and an msdos - setup file.
d-clicked the msdos-setup & got a screen saying:
"can't find file C:\\WINDOWS\Desktop\need\Need"
So, any ideas, anybody?
it should work.........?
is the only setup file the msdos one?
There is also a "setup"-msdos-batchfile & a setupreg - application, but they both don't do much.
Anyway, I'm downloading a .exe version now, I hope this one works better.
(Still would like to know what's wrong though, I'm not a computer-wiz and learning from my mistakes and problems)
So : keep them comming those ideas
By the way I would like to dl some .bin files, but I don't have a CD writer + I don't understand the help-line in the FAQ. Anybody in for a clearer explanation?
Oops, just read the Bin-files thread from wookie, so strike that last question please.
