Bad/Corrupt NZB?

Hey all,

Im having trouble downloading a nzb, ive wanted it for AGES now but now i have emptied my list i decided to try again.

What i mean by this is i have tried NUMEROUS time to download this one file in the past soooo many times but everytime i even added to my dl list it crashed alt.binz, i must have tried a least 10 times and everytime i had to delete alt.binz and then clean my registry in two different way. a serious pain in the f******* ass.

any way so i have now downloaded it and it didnt crash since my list is empty all but this one nzb. its 8.7gb in size and i have download it 100% inlcuding the pars but alt.binz will not unrar it.

Also the % dissapeared as soon as it started, and normaly when it download one part it decodes it then waits for the unraring, but its stuck on 'decoding 100%' ... every single part is...

when i open the download folder, its called exaclty that of the file but is completely empty but my temp folder is 9gb~

Also when downloading this one nzb, alt.binz uses 50-90% just downloading this one file, any other file is noramly 20-30% and my laptop burns up whilst even opening alt.binz with this in the download folder.

But now i have it i cant do jack with it!! its sitting in my temp folder as gibbersih and have no idea what to do!!??!

Please someone help me!!!

link us the nzb , also u could try a different news reader, my favorite is newzbin pro

The first thing, is take a look at the nzb itself, and how the newsreader pgm is getting (attempting, succeeding, or otherwise) the parts that it references.

Secondly, don't let the newsreader do any repairs or un-raring, do it manually step by step. Use Quickpar for the repair, and Winrar to unpack it. I've found many posted archives that are a bit off the mark, and trying to do it 'auto' wise with something 'built-in' to a newsreader, I simply don't try anymore.

Put a little more 'hands on' to the process. Or, like 'JustDOSE', give up the nzb and have some others give it a try.

Im not sure what you mean by 'how the newsreader pgm is getting the parts'

The newsreader cannot unrar it, i cannot unrar it because it is stuck as decoding and has not turned the temp file into a .rar, i have a temp folder 9gb in size

that is what i ment. I miss read his legal for illegal.
