as far as i know you can not as it is a part of windows just like WMP there is an option in ad/remove windows components but that just removes all links to IE ;)
but it still remains in the program files folderQuote:

That's actually a pretty cool tweak. I never thought of that. SYSOC maintains a list of non-essential (and somewhat essential) addons to your comp.Quote:

Actually, I think it would be best if you know what each component does first.
The hide option is NOT there to be annoying. It hides INTEGRAL components of your system. They are hidden for a reason.
Oh and also, litePC for 2000 and XP should be out soon. That 'll help a lot.

IEradicator disintegrates all versions of Internet Explorer from
version 3 to 6 from an existing installation of Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows 98SE, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows 2000sr1.
(Windows 2000sr2, XP not currently supported). The removal process
eliminates 99% of Internet Explorer's files and registry keys
