I have had no luck making these dam things and sick of it every time I try to make one it jumps around all over the plays and have given up so I just stick to 2 CDr until I get a DVD burner in a few weeks
as for quality??
not much difference really from what I see it just jumps around all over the place
Before you bother go here and download the test to see if your dvd will play in the different screen sizes.

Mine won't play in the kvcdx3 528x480 I only get blocks so I hve to look for movies not in that size.
SVCDs nearly always look a lot better than KVCDs.
tsk tsk where is muchspl2? :D
U can get a kvcd to look clear as a SVCD where u really can't tell the difference but SVCD "can" get better quality since it has more room for the movie. Also adster what are u doing when u make them Mpeg 1 or Mpeg 2.
I've been making KVCDs and they always had great quality, obviously not as good as the dvd rips but almost as good as the SVCDs.

No the quality is slightly inferior even if you make a kvcd from a dvd rip.
