Okay I found out why I couldnt play a multiplayer game of Half life before. It was because i had to download update 1.1.1.0 . I completed downloading it today , and well when i try to play a multiplayer game it keeps on asking me to put a cd key . Whenn i put in the cdkey it says it is valid [correct] , but when i click on a game. server to join , it keeps on asking me to put in a cd key even when i put in the correct one. Is there some type of patch that can fix this ?

did u by ne chance use a key gen? <_< no just becuz it work for sinlge player mean it work for multi....
u can use <edited by Lamsey - no serials allowed, sorry> for single but try usign it for multi.
