To resize an image, I use Adobe Photoshop. There is a resize tool there to shrink the picture without croping them. The program is large so I am sure there is a way to accomplish this task with smaller programs. I like photoshop though, it is a real good program. If you have it, let me know, and I will walk you through the steps.
another good program that is small is Irfanview. its what I use to resize all my Pics :)
