I have a pentium 2 233mhz laptop computer and I was wondering if I could connect it to my computer somehow cause I want downloaded files off that computer.

Just put the Hard drive from the old computer in your new computer, set the hard drive to slave and your regular one to master then plug it all in and swap files over.Quote:

hardcore, you might be-able to hook it up wit a network cable
if that doesnt work, try getting a serial cable that might work
Pirater, and I do pay attention on this forum, and I stand by my answer.
Come on its a Pentium I, even if he couldnt get it back together, (which isnt THAT hard to do) he wouldnt be losing much.
And last time I checked a Laptop hard drive still runs off the same IDE channel, and uses the like wise connector.

nono john, laptops are smaller and the cable on the laptop to the hdd is smaller....
