ITT you prove that nonscene hd groups are better

I don't think the bandwagon is quite as full as HDBits membership yet, so perhaps one of you p2p HD zealots could prove to me that p2p groups do a better encoding job. If you're not going to post something technically inclined and/or screenshots evidencing torrent superiority, please sit this one out.

Sometimes it seems obvious to me. For example, an 8GB The.Godfather.Part.I.1972.720p.BluRay.x264-ADHD at 5779 kbps vs a 20GB+ The.Godfather.1972.1080p.BluRay.DTS.x264-ESiR at 1414623kbps. Also, I'm aware that size and bitrate are not everything.

I guess what I'm really asking is whether for the average release the p2p encodes are substantially better in a way that is noticeable to the average viewer. If you can prove that to me, I will provide you with a delicious cookie.
