what is the best make for a wireless keyboard and mouse?
logitech lx710 is good place to start
logitech or razer.
ive got a razer tarantula keyboard and a razer copperhead mouse and the exactmat.

The Microsoft Desktop Elite setup is really nice.
Logitech mx518 (mx510 / mx500) is a classic, awesome mouse for gaming or anything, good price/quality

for keyboard, hmm, razer has a good nice and clean gaming keyboard

but whatever you get, if you like music, i really recommand getting something with top control buttons, oh and keyboards with couple extra buttons are always good, i set my firefox and other applications on those, practical =]

I like my logitech G7 (mouse).
Still need a new keyboard, so no recomendations.
I love my Logitech G15 keyboard.
