First of all, there's a way to uncap your modem to but you could be arrested for that if your ISP finds out (which they will most undoubtedly).
I said LOL because 117 kB/s is friggin' fast ! I bet half this forum doesn't have that much (excluding 56k users) and you still complain...
Anyway, if you're really desperate, ask someone how to uncap your modem, but i don't think you should...

Well, i always knew it was possible to hack your connection to raise it to the modem's maximum potential, but as for the word 'uncap', yes, i just saw it posted. Besides, i don't know how to do it and don't want to know... try asking in the chat channel.

What exactly are you referring to when you "uncap" broadband?
You can use TCPOptimiser to increase download speeds.
It does this by altering Windows settings and optimising them for your connection.
Get it here - it's freeware.
i download at 80kbps
cablemodems work completly different then DSL Modems it will not work, DSL can not be uncapped unless u go to ur ISP and kill everyone and uncap it. Or move next door to ur ISP and u get optimal bandwidth.
