It might go faster if you tweaked it instead.
For excellent tweaking instructions go here and install his gaming or super-tweak set-up.
It couldn't hurt.
Upgrading your video card is the best thing you can do for gaming.
Turning down your screen resolution will give a slight frame rate increase
