Some time ago I saw a thread in a forum about an app that downloaded torrents automatically (Iam not talking about RSS). I've forgot the page I saw the thread in (it could have been a tracker forum). Dose anyone know the name of that program?

the only practical way for you to download torrents automatically is through some implementation of rss. Perhaps you're thinking of TVTad?

It's possible to build an app that does browse page scraping, so RSS is not the only practical way. Not all sites support RSS.
Can't help with finding the app though, unless you want it scripted in PHP :P
