Building a Computer, Input welcome

Re: Building a Computer, Input welcome
Interesting build.
Check out this: Another similar motherboard to that one: http://www.pcstats.com/releaseview.cfm?ReleaseID=1301
Get 2x256 DDR400 RAM so that it runs in dual channel mode.
Get a power supply with more than 300W.
Look at NEC for a DVD burner.
Re: Building a Computer, Input welcome
Is Dual channel easy to install? Just put them both in, or is there something a little more complicated?
Thanks
EDIT: That mobo is amazing, How much is it? It isn't on new egg.
Re: Building a Computer, Input welcome
Dual channel is very easy. One stick of RAM in each channel on the board and you're done.
Not on newegg yet. I just found it at the Gigabyte website: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/MotherBoa...8N51PVMT-9.htm
Re: Building a Computer, Input welcome
i have a question abt the writer, LITE-ON Black IDE DVD Burner Model SOHW-1693S:
- does it come with testing software included(k-probe), like PlexTools in the Plextor package ??
