i have tryed 2 so far bullet proof i tryed...avrage ppl get when d/l from that one is about 35-40kb/s
then i tryed serv-u which had speeds at 6-10kb/s
i have upload of about 400kb/s
so is there a server out there that will accualy let atleat 100kb/s be uploaded from me?
or is it a setting on my comp thats resciting my upload on the ftps
-
do you know the difference between kb/sec and kB/sec?
-
no im stupid but i did take speed tests...and they should be a lot higher uploading
this is what dslreports gave me frist time
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/16763....com/1074144284
and my second test
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/30717....com/1074144809
and pcpitstop gave me an upload of Upload Speed 438 Kb/s
-
the point i was trying to make is that your connection speed given by pc pitstop is 438 kb/sec (kilobits per second)
the speed at which people upload from you given in bullet ftp is in kB/sec (kilobytes per second)
since 8 kb/sec = 1kB/sec, you should expect that with an upload of 438kb/sec that you would be able to upload at approximately 55kB/sec in bullet ftp
what is the connection speed of those trying to download from you?
edit: correction
-
i have cable....speeds im supposed get is this 10mb/s down 1.5mb/s
of couse never came close to that
the ppl who are trying to download from me have download of about 1mb/s
-
So your Cable connection: 10/1.5Mbps -> 10.24/1.536Mbps
= 1.28/0.192MB/s

internet companys try to confuse you using kB and kb and/or mb and mB
