Forgive my newbness but how come i can see some avatars and some are just boxes with red crosses in the corner?(including my own :huh: )?? Please explain .....

basically,the ones with red crosses in are broken links, maybe typed in wrong or the site that hosted them has gone down
Is you avatar on the web or off your harddrive?
if off your harddrive, no one else can see it, you need to link it from a website or upload it to a pic host
EDIT: looks like your linking from geocities, I may be wrong but I dont think they allow pic hosting for stuff like forums and links
