It is an encoded xvid but that version I believe is 480p which would not compare to the quality of a be a untouched blue ray at 1080p.

whats with all the non newsgroup related threads these past few days...
BDRip means the source that was used was Bluray instead of DVD....so no it's technically not Hi-Def, but IMO, BDRip and BRRips always look better than DVDRips, and yes there still in XviD format, which makes them playable anywhere.Quote:

a brrip is what a xvid is to a dvd, but to a bluray of course. so quality suffers but hey its not 50gb :)
