The Prob:
I have downloaded all three files for LOTR: The Two Towers.avi also both Bruce Almighty.avi files i.e (1/2)(2/2) etc...

I have tried opening them on:
Video Lan (VLC)
Blaze DVD
BS Player from the kazaalite.tk download page
Power DVD
Real Player
...............................................................................
The only thing I get is a black screen not even sound, I know that the Bruce Almighty one should work as its the same one i downloaded a few days ago before i had to format my hard drive.
Any ideas what to try?

Post a screen shot of the LOTR file specs as shown in G-Spot. If you have not checked the file specs of this video(Lotr) then that's the first problem. I have LOTR and it plays fine.

G-Spot is a program that you can DL along with the new kazaa codec pack
it tells you what codecs you need to play a movie.
