If so, it's hardly a fair one.
You could take the AMD based system and use the $800 price difference for upgrades and kick the Intel's ass.

Swap your fx 5900's for 9800 pros - these shit all over geforces - even the 5900 ultras. You can also clock them into XTs - over twice the performance in HL2 :D

its not always quantity its more to do with quality and the speed of ram, you can always upgrade later
