4tb+ nvme or sata ssd

looking for a gaming drive; my 1TB nvme just isn't cutting it anymore

What are people using these days? I see the 4TB Samsung Evo (I don't like qvo), or a 4TB nvme? not sure about the best makes, and there are limited supplies around :)
let me know your thoughts

I think the conventional wisdom is to just add another drive if you need more space.
