I already uninstalled Norton Internet Security yet the Security Center in my Control Panel still say that it's active? O.o ... I'm using Outpost right now so I'm wondering how to turn it off... I can't find the program anywhere on my computer

- In the My Computer window, click (or double-click) Local Disk (C:) > Program Files.
- In the Program Files window, delete any of the following folders that are present:

Download and run two files
These files remove some older Norton files if they exist, and they repair a Microsoft file.Go to the section "Reinstall LiveUpdate."
- Follow the instructions for your Web browser:
- Internet Explorer. Click the following link to download the first file:

Save the file to the Windows desktop.- Firefox. Right-click the following link and then click Save Link As to download the first file:

By running SymNRT, Rnav2003, RnisUPG, and SYMCLN, you have removed every part of the programs supported by SymNRT, as well as Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall, and Norton SystemWorks 2003 and earlier.

- WinFax PRO or TalkWorks PRO -- For help to back up your data and then uninstall these programs, readHow to use the Add/Remove Programs option to remove WinFax PRO or TalkWorks PRO.
- ACT! -- If you want to back up your contact data before you uninstall the program, follow the steps in How to Back Up and Restore Your ACT! Database.
=/ ... doesn't work... it's still there. I guess I'll download the trialware then uninstall it again instead... although I doubt that it'll work lol...
