The word troll comes to mind.
You are allways wellcome to comment on the initial subject, but what is the fun in that???:P
Re: I want to take this relationship to.....
If someone seriously picks up on grammar mistakes in an effort to make themselves appear superior then they are worthy of derision.
However, no-one does that. At least that I've seen. I do it in an attempt at humour and JP did it there in a humourous way. Whether it is actually received by all as funny is another thing but it's just something else to banter about.
For example Cheese is doing English at uni and his English is better than mine but I (we) still take the piss when he slips up. It's just a bit of fun ;)
Btw, you always spell welcome incorrectly. There are no 'ls' in confetti, so stop sprinkling them about  :P

You're welcome.:D

If it was just this occasion, i would agree.
Alas, it is not. So i disagree.
More often than not, he uses this method in an attempt to ridicule a post.
It is a pattern i reacted on, not a sigular event.

Oh, and two years of highschool english are my pirimal education.....
Forgive me my learning handicap.

That was a sarcastic joke right?
I mean, that goes on everyday

Re: I want to take this relationship to.....
It wasn't a joke.
No-one picks up bad grammar in an attempt to make themselves look superior. If it was done seriously then it would have the opposite effect.
So I pick Cheese up if he types grammer instead of grammar. Is this my own language insecurity manifesting itself, or am I having a laugh.

Pity you only see the clouds J'Pol is allways hiding behind.
In psychology we call it Disqualification of the source.
I am truly baffled by your good believes, in this matter.

I am mainly talking about when I morph into pedant mode.
J'Pol talks of the possesive apostrophe like a favourite son, to me it is a joke. I did allude to other's not seeing it as funny earlier.
There are no special people that I agree with all of the time, you may have noticed. I'll give my opinion as I see it
Re: I want to take this relationship to.....
If it was just the apostrophe, you wouldn't hear me.
But i think he must have a big house for all those son 's, or sons, or son's, or.........
Glad you like it.
I find it annoying as hell.
And i am not the only one.

Re: I want to take this relationship to.....
To be honest, I know I can't spell for shit nor use grammer/grammar to good effect, this is something I can't really do much about (I can't afford to go college before you say it) and I've often seen various people pick out spelling mistakes or whatever in a heated disscussion to make themselfs look better, I personally take the piss out of myself for it, I can't help being fik, but I don't really care either, when I ask you guys what words mean that you call me or say or whatever, it's because I really don't know, but imo taking the piss out of someone who can't spell etc is no different to calling someone with glasses 4 eyes and usually comes from those who have no social standing or have major insecurities about themselfs.
Of course this does'nt apply when done in jest, mates banter etc :)
