I was just wondering what exactly is 2003 server and its purpose? Is it worth installing? I have XP pro and it says it can't upgrade over XP pro.
all info would be great.

me too...what is all the fuss about windows server 2003??? isnt it for computers that act as a server on big networks??? why would that be useful for home computers?
yeah its usless unless u have a server everyone jsut gets hyped up when somehting new comes out alah Longhorn anyway jsut wait till 2003 pro comes out does anyone know when it comes out??
OK, If you are wondering, I wouldn't reccomend 2003.NET server to any home user. Stick with XP Pro..... 2003 has nothing really for a home user.I just tried it out and I have uninstalled it and am now only using XP Pro. Yeah, the boot up screens are pretty and all but overall - I'll give it 5 stars of CRAP! If you do decide to install it , Put it on a partition!
yea for like runnig school's supermarkwets...etc.Quote:
