Sugar Puffs are called Smacks in Belgium?
And smack is actually sugar in Holland?
I thought I was onto a winner before my teeth fell out.
I don't know what our Northern neighbours call it. :snooty:
Well you do now, like.
I'm not sure to trust your testimony on that.
Are ewe calling me a liar?
No, absolutely not.
I merely wish to point out that most people, when staying in Holland, tend to be a little less perceptive than usual.
I read ingredients, girlie, and wot stood out on the labelling was smack (though it may've been smak).
Still, the phonetics ring true and I always smirked somewhat at the irony and that.
I expect it would have been 'smaak'. It's Dutch for 'taste'.
I bow to your multi-linguistic expertise.
