Taking CDs/DVDs into the USA
Honestly did not know where else to ask this, or if this is the right board.
So, I live in Brazil at the moment and soon I'm going to move to the USA.
I have a little case with a bunch of CDs of just the usual stuff I download, to save space on my HDs. Needless to say, I might not have the legal license to most of the software, or bought the DVDs.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if anyone would care at the airport. I'm guessing all the bags are checked coming into the USA, so yea.
Doesn't seem like there would be anyone that would take the CDs and DVDs and put them into a computer to check for the content, but a cheap DVD labeled "Windows Vista Ultimate x64" might raise some eyebrows.
I dunno, just wondering if anyone here has been in the same situation?

Label them all ''something banal''.
They won't understand. :smilie4:

What in the name of all that's sacred made you chose the lounge section of this board to ask on advice on how to smuggle illegal material into the USA.
Seriously, how did you make this choice, I can't even begin to guess at your logic.
It's a fantastic first post btw and is to your credit.
