With all the photo editing software out there, what is the best ? ease of use being the main thing for a begginer. cheers.

it depends on what you want to do with it.
do you want to resize the pictures? Put all sorts of filters on them? what?
ummm ifranview is nice... go to downloads.com n get it... free...
I use Photoshop 6. But I've been using Photoshop for a good number of years now, so I'm not sure how it'd compare to someone just starting out.
Photoshop is very good but it's huge on size. :o
Paint Shop Pro can do what Photoshop does and it's smaller. ;)
eh i still say ifran view... simple... but no editing... well cheap editin... lol... i resort to paint
w/ my cheap computer! lol
Not so. Paint Shop Pro can do some things Photoshop does, but not all. And it seems at a lesser quality too.
:ninja:
Edited to add: There's more to Photoshop than photo-editing! ...I sound like the Abdobe Acrobat ad.
Yep. For simple editing, I like Paint too. :D

(Defender of MS Paint)
Adobe Photoshop is easy for the most part ;) ,
File:Adobe Photoshop 7.0.rar
Length:168489112 Bytes,164540KB
UUHash:=FrxdoH+Bbd6uk1PsSV1168exv3w=
You don't want to use Photoshop 7. It silently registers back to Adobe. Tracking-like.
:ninja:
Ok then, Paint Shop Pro:
File:Paint Shop Pro7 Setup.exe
Length:33554896 Bytes,32768KB
UUHash:=WhJiN5al6zAhdxdAYSFBIb34YEQ=
Or MS Paint, it's easy and basic. :-"
I use Uleads Photo Impact 8....not for beginners though. I just installed PhotoSuite by roxio and believe it is what you are looking for....simple interface, ease of use, and still maintains good editing protocols.
Went back to Ulead though.
Also you might want to try Uleads photo express as your first choice!!
I have several friends that are novice users and this is their preference.
cheers,
Steve

i use it, and i don't see anything wrong with it...
but if you're really paranoid, you can always block it with a firewall...

Bloody amazing though, I've just discovered Microsoft Photodraw which comes bundled with Office 2000, and it looks pretty dam good with a nice tutorial. Its only been on my PC for the past 2 years, what a twat. :lol:
The two photo editing software I use is
Corel Draw Paint 11 and Photoshop 7
both available at Kazaa
Corel Paint Draw 11 If your new to Photo stuff :ph34r:
