A good software to learn to type correctly?
Hey guy's, any of you got any suggestions on what would be a good software to learn how to type correctly?
I deal with pc's nearly every day, hardware ect.. but after all these years I still don't type correctly as in using the right fingers on the right keys....
I can type fast enough but I'd like to learn the correct way to type fast....
Any good programs out there ? :)

I feel your pain as I can't type if my life depended on it . One trick to use is , two fingers and force yourself to do it . You could always use google to find freebies .

I used All the Right Type in school, it does the job even if it might be a bit childish

Mavis Beacon is by far the best typing program i have ever used. I would highly recommend you finding it. I think it's at version 17 right now.
Re: A good software to learn to type correctly?
I know what you guys mean. I know I can type fast but I don't type correctly. I rarely use my ring fingers and NEVER use my right pinky (left pinky is for shift). Also, the right thumb is also unused (I use left thumb and right pointer for spaces). It's weird that my right hand is mostly unused considering I am right-handed. I guess that's just how I learned to type over the years.

u don't really need 2 use a prog 2 learn how 2 type. i learned how to type over 15 years ago and quickly got to over 70 words a minute. it's just repetitiveness and u'll conquer it. just place ur hands on home row (index fingers on the "F" key & the "J" key) and just force urself to learn. lol, it's kinda like starting fps' with the arrow keys then advancing to wasd. u get used 2 it.
