I don't know whether this is old or new information, but I just figured this one out and currently getting it off suprnova.
Basically, it's a third person game very much the same format as Capcom's previous games such as Devil May Cry. Only the overall storyline is different.

I already played it in the PS2 and is really stupid just fight between 50 monsters so you unlock a door to the next room and do the same thing all over again to the end :x
