You may want to keep checking BTracs though. Usually, when they are caught open like that, they are in the process of massive account pruning.

I propose to post only trackers that have a longer period to sign up to avoid such troubles.

And how can we know how long they'll remain open?

TheVault is almost always closed, so when that's not the case it's pretty sensible to post it here, even if open registrations don't last too long.
