It sounds to me like you are struggling existentially. Have you considered something that you wouldn't hate doing? :idunno: Corporate/government jobs are almost all soul-sucking, are they not? Find something you care about or enjoy doing. If you can't think of anything that would have meaning to you, then I'm probably right in my assessment.
