Been through many different pets, 4 dogs when I was young. Then had a few mice in early teens. When shacked up with wife had a cat (not by choice). Then we went small scale with Gerbils (several) and then on to rats. There were limitations since we fostered but I`m really just too lazy to have a dog.

Not sure about over others but sure Oreo (our rat) will come out to be stroked and played with {insert obvious sexual references}, intelligent little buggers. It isn`t as rewarding as having a dog but a lot less work.Quote:
