I like how all the negative comments to the article seem to think that every debate should have only one side.
Also Carol is legitimately the only truly bad-ass person left on that show.
Notice she wasn't one of the people captured because if she had been she would have been all "I'm a poor old church lady" and then shoved that bat up Negan's ass.

The Walking Dead would have lost me without the comics. I feel like when I watch each episode that they're purposely trying to get on my nerves. I reset my perspective by consulting the comic and speculating how the show will move down a parallel path.
First spoiler, recent show deaths
Spoiler: ShowThe two-for-one special by Negan was to compensate for Abraham's earlier death in the comic, which used Denise in the show. Glenn's death is otherwise pretty much the same even down to makeup. However, after that scene in the comic, Negan leaves with his group and tells them they have a week. This is where the show really irritated me. They dragged on the Negan torturing Rick angle and slow revealed the deaths. I was skipping forward a lot.

S07E02 and beyond speculation (and the only reason I can still watch):
Spoiler: ShowRick is going to sell to the group that they have to give up and submit to Negan. He's going to find one confidant among the group or elsewhere (it was Jesus in the comics) to work a strategy at getting back at Negan so that the rest of the group maintains a defeated spirit when the Saviors come to collect "half" their shit. Recall that Eugene still alive and has on the burner the possibility of making ammo.
