Do you really think there is parts of your brain that does get locked off or stored unless something significant happens to trigger it open?? My brain used to be active-- it lead to depression and anxiety. Now I am settled into more of a... *Fuck it, this is what I have to do; this is what I should do; this is what I'd like to see*. Beyond that, much of life is out of my control so I don't worry too much, stress too much, remember the never-ending minutia of all that goes on. I *wish* for justice and fairness and honesty-- but have seen it fail FAR too often. Active memories come with the weight of life...
