Oh they are enjoyable yarns if you like that sort of thing (I do), just of little literary value.
The same could be said for Terry Pratchett but I have read all of the Disk World novels and enjoyed them

I was at a pub most of this weekend with a few lush minded individuals in a place called Wiseman's Bridge.
I like a drop of wine and this place was selling bottles of red for £6. I find South African wine, which this was, to be hit and miss - but this was surprisingly decent stuff.
Obviously I drank two bottles on top of whatever else I'd thrown down me that afternoon and passed out in a short amount of time. There was also a pool table and Space Invaders.
If any of you heathens happen upon similarly fantastic pubs, let me know.
