You had it right the first time :snooty:
I have to say I'm touched by your solidarity to get a matching scar on your neck to mine. Clearly none of the rest of these so-called 'friends' are willing to show that level of commitment...
Enjoy this clip (one of my favorites fro Family Guy) and keep me in your thoughts as you drift of to sleep during the surgery. :)

I have laughed and learned so much from you all... and sincerely thank you all. :) (Fingers crossed.)
(They had said minimal or minuscule scarring, so there's that. It's now been 6 months of a roller coaster ride of pain. It's always something new it seems. Hey...I've always been someones "pain in the neck", so now I know how it feels! ;) ... I'll leave you with this... "Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meg, Meggggggggggggggggg!") :alien: (Now smile... I am.) ;)
If Epstein wasn't murder and the authorities aren't covering it up then I have to say isQuote:
Jeffrey Epstein: Jail CCTV erased by 'technical errors'
US prosecutors say the jail mistakenly saved footage from the wrong cell.
No, serious he was whacked and the person/people responsible must be of the very highest level to be getting away with this.
A Tremendous loss in Music!!!
Rest in peace Neil Ellwood Peart

I will tell you Meg, i am not sure if you ever did see Rush live, i can tell you WOW!! 3 guys on a stage that can really play/preform to the limits of music, i say i am glad i did see them live and will always keep it in memories. I think i can say that there will be no one that can replace him, especially as a song writer and percussionist...
His memory will live on but really sad passing away at such a young age from a tragic illness... He will be missed:cry:
Neil Peart not only a musician and artist, but a giant plus in the industry of dandruff shampoo.
Thank you for those, Shay. I've only been to a couple concerts (Motley Crue, Metallica, and some country guy when I was first dating my wife).
LOL!!! very good Meg:)....
Well you did pick 2 great bands to see live for sure, and as long as it wasn't a Trans Gender Taylor Swift, you will have a hat-trick of good picks buddy ;)..
Thinking you were born and raised in some Bum Fuck Idaho, i am still thinking the wife is the Country aficionado:D
A quick question Meg, occasionally i log into IPT just to see if there is something different or if i can't find it on USENET, i never downloaded or uploaded anything just logged in and out after i did a search or saw what was posted...
Anyways they purged the account, so i IRC'd them and they said i need a new invite to join again or obviously can become a VIP:)..
And i asked them again if i don't use it and just log in what will happen?? And they said it will get purged again....
I didn't go into any more confrontation with them, because i didn't want to get you into any trouble, if they track back how i got the invite...
I am not sure if you have a bunch of invites left or really if it is worth it for me to join again?? Really i am only using the site for peeking, what do you think??
So i am saying they said i can still use the same login and stuff i just need an invite, again if you don't think i need it or you don't have a lot, better you should give it to someone that will use the site buddy....
Not a problem, Shay. I have a few unused invitations, so they can purge you and we can just keep repeating.
Shay is the one in the 563rd row, 1081st from the left.

Also 67 is only dying young if you are an oak tree.
USENET people are people too. Kinda... :yup:
Does the board have any income these days? Looks like the ad spaces all have "your ad here" type stuff now. Even the NZBs page.
I know I'm late on this, but losing Pratt is crushing - He was The One, he truly was...

^^ The great ones make it look easy.
What struck me after watching a lot of clips and tributes is how much beyond the stage he could pass for anyone's Dad.

I believe his folks instilled that in him.
He appreciated our appreciation but was uncomfortable with it.
I pulled into a fuel stop way over in the east end of the Upper Peninsula once just as he and a mate were leaving on their Beemers; I got a good look at him with his lid up, and then the attendant confirmed my suspicions:
"Hey, mister, guess who that was?"
I answered, "Neil Peart?"
I thought he was gonna shit...
Okay, at 9:45am EST, 15 minutes before I leave for surgery (a 45 minute ride), I get a call from his receptionist that the surgeon's wife is in labor and the surgery needs to be rescheduled.
I say, "Congratulations!"
"Two more weeks more, but on another Thursday now, except at an earlier time.", she sez. I hangup and lose it. :frusty:
(I need a quick vent...$%#@&!$^*&^%$#@!... okay better now.) :alien:
Bah! Yet the "specialist" charges me $240 for 5 minute consult back in December perhaps knowing her due date!
Forget American insurance.... I'm heading to Canada were the majority of my kin settled. Professional people all! :)
(WAIT!... It's cold up there now. In that case failure. Never mind then.) :alien:
I better get a cigar and it best be Cuban.
Oh yeah almost forgot... R.I.P. Neil Peart.
Good luck with your surgery, Stehle. ;)
Hoping I don't hear I need disc-work soon.
I recall shaina saying that health care in Canadia sucks so much that it was easier to fly to the US to get treatment (an option that is definitely affordable for any average citizen). Maybe the grass is greener on the other side... in any case, hang in there, mate :D
Very True Statement Anon, and a lot of Canadians do....Even in the case of Having a friendly relationship with the doctor/specialists/surgeon here, you still have to wait for an open and staffed (nurses and anesthesiologist that must be in the surgery til complete ) room..
Saying that, not to take away the seriousness of Stehle's problem/issue, if a surgery is postponed here you may have to wait a hell of a lot longer than a few weeks later to reschedule... That is another reality here in Canada....
Just the thought Meg, of when i had a long fucking vacuum tube shoved up my pecker to remove stones stuck in my ureter!!!..
Trying to figure out what is worse, waking up after surgery and being in pain or pissing blood for weeks:unsure:, also thinking i would have just had a small incision near my left kidney vs having the urge to take a piss and moving the blankets and seeing the whole bed full of blood!!!
I can tell you it did freak me out!!, but not a s much as my wife....
When I went into acute respiratory failure, I had it pretty darn good. I had a large room all to myself and a group of nurses (mostly) from eastern europe. They were all very friendly, and one in particular could have made a fortune if she'd made the decision to become a stripper instead of a nurse. I cannot say I objected to her fondling my pecker while she inserted a catheter and nonchalantly talked to me about how her father has developed a fear of getting one-- but he has no actual medical need... Personally, I think the idea of a catheter is more awful than the actual insertion.
There was one non-hottie who was a male nurse that actually looked very much like Mr. Clean. He seemed to get me when I was at my worst. He's be more of a niche draw as a stripper, I guess... :idunno:
As you know Meg, my nature and response is i am sorry you were not well buddy and i don't wish any harm to anyone, and really glad you recovered and you are ok for you and your family buddy And you were happy with the care you did receive..
And i will finish by saying you live in a "Great Country US of A" when it does come to medical care, and really there is only a small portion of people that have no coverage that does need to be fixed. Really i do hope the Government can fix that without fucking it up for the rest....
I can say that i did receive ok service in the hospital here Meg, but that was lucky when i learned how to work around the system, from the actual specialist/surgeon. I honestly and actually became friends with him outside his profession. But when it came to my Wife being in the same hospital for 4 weeks, that was a complete different story/experience, and i know that would never happen in the USA.
Again i am really glad you are ok Meg, at least physically anyways:P
Your right again my friend... that REALLY would have been disastrous. Hey... I waited this long....why not some more? :)
(I keep have this feeling he will come in with baggy swollen eyes.... and mumble something about "WOW, the baby kept me up all night!) :alien:
Okay, okay... here in the swamps I'll stay! ;) Most of my kin in Canada are dentists, lawyers, corporate CEO's, etc, etc, doctors with one neurosurgeon in the bunch (...and as children we never got along.), so that's definitely out too.
(ey, I haven't touched snow in about 20 years though. No shoveling it neither.) ;) :alien:
Thank YOU all... I needed a good laugh! :D
(Gotta remember... vacuum cleaners and nurses.... Check!) :alien:
I've been much overdue for a new keyboard. I used a $4 Dell keyboard I got off of eBay for like a decade or more. Then someone gave me a keyboard that I thought would be better but its terribly bulky and still pretty shit. I decided to spring for a fancy mechanical keyboard, the massdrop alt, and its fucking terrible. Its basically got perfect reviews on Amazon so I'm clearly in the minority here but wtf do ppl see in these things? It's way the fk off the desk so you would need one of those wrist cushions :ghey: but I'm not buying even more stuffs to make it cozy. And its terribly set up from an ergonomics standpoint sans the height. The lowest area is the middle rows...like the highest rows are up at the top, then angle downward like you would expect but then start rising up again at the bottom row. Why the fk would it do that? The spacebar is a legit obstacle to get over. Worst keyboard ever.
I use that Magic Keyboard 2 that Apple makes for my work stuffs and its pretty nice. Gonna return this new keyboard. Not sure if I want to try another mechanical or not.
I stole half a dozen old HP wired keyboards at work when they were going to through them out last year. You know, the ones that look like the old IBM keyboards from the 80s/90s.
Maybe it's just what I am used to, but it really is the most comfortable one for me.
