I didn't even realize she was excited.

I don't respond to private messages because the Feds might be listening in.
Sup dawgs. Moved into new house. It's tite but going through the new house bullshit like discovering the minor bullshit that you only find out about after you move in. Like the mice and rats outside that tore into our birdseed. Fucking savages. I bought one of these electric traps and its a fucking killing machine. It takes 4 AA batteries and delivers a fatal shock if anything steps inside and triggers the little weight sensor. I have a few pieces of cat food sitting at the back of it and I've been decimating the rodent population around here. I'm killing everything from tiny field mice to rats the size of small squirrels.
I also have a baby on the way in a few weeks so pretty stoked about that. I'm out of shape as fk tho since I have no time for riding or running and such so that's super annoying. I still look pretty fit but I feel disgustingly out of shape after every meal. I'm beginning to understand the dad bod before I'm even a dad.
We had a group of mice In our chicken coup that were to smart for traps. They were absolute suckers for these bait blocks. VERY effective, also safe if something you don't want to die happens to get a nibble-- it has to build up in their system for a few days, then stops their blood from coagulating. Apparently, that's bad. :P
Congrats on the Mini-Skiz!
Thanks gents! Baby was planned for. Missus and I have been together almost nine years. We have never been the type to be giddy about kids but we figured if we're gonna have em we need to get to it.
I thought about baits for the rodents but since I dont know where theyre nesting, I didn't want one (or five) to die in the walls or some shit. This electric one is double sweet bc it has a little LED on top that flashed if it's killed something. I can see it from one of our windows so I don't even need to fk with it until it flashes. Then I just damp the trap in the trash and reset the on/off switch. I might buy another for the other side of the house. Guess Imma buy some 5 gallon buckets for feed and such.
Best of luck with the new kiddie.... makes the divorce settlement later almost worth it (but so much more complex) :S
41, you did leave it a tad late but hey better late than never. I would comment on rat kills but I have one still as a pet so domestic ones "fancy rats" are just too damn nice to kill off. His bro got a tumour and cost me £60+VAT to get him released into to ratty heaven (British tax anything that moves)..... so much cheaper your way I guess.
I've never understood the desire to have a rodent or reptile as a pet.
Chickens, ducks, and Corgis are the cool pets
