Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Several decades of lifting weights and yesterday for the first time I dropped a plate on my foot and broke my big toe. If God is trying to tell me something then He needs to realize that I'm still too stupid to listen. So far I've been coping with heavy duty topical analgesic and a whole lot of manliness. :01:
PS I realize no one here cares. I'm only posting because I really, really could use an internet.
Fingers crossed.

Got it!
(Fingers crossed here... at least the nose is hopefully healed by now.) :alien:
May want to try bands or those flexi ribbons they gave me in physical therapy.
Btw... They helped me learn how to walk... twice!

So, basically, a really good analgesic.

I developed this huge hematoma which I got to prick and watch a lot of blood and fluid pour out of so it wasn't all bad.

Print a copy of that post and read it next time you feel like criticizing my anime-watching habits.

Didn't have the forethought to record it. Would you settle for an artist's rendition?
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Well this is definitely a few days old... (I need to check my mail more often.)... It may be of benefit to a few rural users at this time.
Some of what you need to know about Starlink. (Scroll down on that page if interested.)
(Even my beta sources are telling me they get no more then about 135-140mbs downloading at this time.)
Bad news is about $500 initial setup, (hardware) and $99 a month service use fee. (Still Beta?)
It's close to my ISP's pricing, but 3 to 400mbs or better might be on par with whats available for the money and on an earthbound scale in some areas.
With more satellites to launch... I'll still hold out hope it gets better. :)
