When you get a popup-alert the name and/or type of trojan is displayed.
The major antivirussites have an online knowledgebase and sometimes
special removaltools for that specific type.
Although most scanners are good at identifying pests they sometimes lack in ability to
remove those .
You can try the by Stoi mentioned Trojan remover
or a version of Pestpatrol (http://www.safersite.com)
They have free demoversions.

Software choices are a matter opinion to a certain point(if eveyone has the same experience,knowledge and has used the products)
I have been trying to get my Computer repair center going for the last year(rough going.....bad economy....bad :angry: )
I am getting ready to take the A+ certification test in March.

I use Norton internet security and also run Agnitum outpost as has a good feature of stealthing ports.Didn't get on with zone alarm but others swear by it.
You can get AVG a gr8 free anti virus from here.
Best site for any security problems and loads of programs is Wilders...
